8.2 Upgrade Guide

Pre-Upgrade Process

Terraform

DataForge is removing legacy buckets ("Output") that are no longer used. However, some users may be using the "-Output-" bucket. If you are using this bucket to store files and do not want it removed, add the below variable before running Terraform to upgrade to the 8.2 version. This variable will prevent the bucket from being cleared out and removed.

Variable Key: keepLegacyS3Buckets

Variable Value: yes

Upgrade Process

After completing the pre-upgrade steps, follow the standard upgrade guide, then proceed to post-upgrade.

Confirm the environment is alive and working as usual. Submit a support request if something is not working as intended.
