Get Started

1. Sign up

Sign up for a free trial on the DataForge website. Choose a cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and connect a Databricks or Snowflake workspace. Quick-start guides are provided during signup if you don't have these set up yet.

After completing signup, DataForge provisions a new workspace — this can take up to 24 hours.

1. Deploy your environment

DataForge runs in your own cloud account, so the first step is standing up the environment. The Deployment section covers the prerequisites, Terraform variables, and post-deployment steps for AWS and Azure.

Once the deployment finishes, you sign in at your environment's own URL. User accounts come from the Auth0 tenant set up for the deployment — see Manage Users.

2. Complete the introduction training

The Building in DataForge course covers everything you need to get started. Once complete, earn your DataForge Fundamentals Certification.

3. Build your first pipeline

Follow the Data Integration Example to build a complete pipeline end to end — the best way to learn DataForge is hands-on.
